VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
We need more workers for this event. If you are able to help out, please contact Marilynn Manuel. AND PLEASE We need COOKIES (peanut free please…)
“One grace each child of God can show is giving from a willing heart. Yet, if we wait till riches grow, it well may be we’ll never start.” – D. De Haan
God looks at the heart, not the hand; the giver, not the gift.
SOME SOBERING QUESTIONS
Would you like: To live in a country where there are no churches? To see all pastors, teachers, missionaries, and workers for righteousness go on strike? To see all churches close their doors on Sunday? To see the kingdom of God grind to a halt because churches ran out of money? To see the blessings of God withdrawn from your country?
Then take stock: Am I doing my part to keep events like these from happening? Do I ride free on the sacrifices of others? Does Christianity show in my daily life? Does the Christian faith mean getting or giving to me?

HOW ABOUT A CANOE DAY?
Upgrade your paddling skills, learn some safety tips, increase your survival know-how and spend a day skimming across a lake. Got questions? Check with Todd Korson and Sign Up on the CANOE DAY SHEET on our Bulletin Board. A suitable date will be selected.
LET’S SHARPEN OUR SKILLS IN SHARING OUR FAITH.
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. during Adult Bible Study, Paul Woodcock will be helping us in our witness to others. Everyone is welcome to attend; all sessions will be held in the church foyer.
NEWS FROM THE LIBRARY
We are rounding up overdue books and other resource materials now. Lists for these overdue items are being distributed directly to individual borrowers to help them locate these items at home. Remember, when you check out a book, “you” are responsible for returning it in a timely manner & in good condition. We want to continue bringing in new materials for our Library so let's be good stewards & bring in these items now. Thanks.
CHANGES in Borrowing Time & Number of Items Borrowed
Effective April 5th, we will be making the following changes from the present procedure:
CHECK-OUT LIMITS
ADULTS: 2 books & 1 Video
CHILDREN: 1 book & 1 Video
All items may be borrowed for a 2 week limit. You are welcome to renew items as needed, but we ask that you bring in the item to be renewed so that we may properly date-stamp them for accurate record-keeping.
Pastor can now be reached via Email direct to his office. Private and confidential. If you have concerns that you would like to discuss with him, send an email to pastor@ccbch.com. This can be a good means to let him know what might be on your mind before you come to visit him at church. Or if you wish to request him to visit you for some councelling.
